Music Lessons.

It’s been so amazing how we have all managed to adapt to video calls and conferencing in the absence of staffrooms and playgrounds. The boys were ahead of Sarah and I anyway. They are used to the idea of the group chat during gaming and Jack uses Skype all the time.

However, it has really surprised me how the boys are managing so successfully to continue with their music lessons with surprising ease and success. I’m so proud of them. It makes my efforts with my job pale by comparison.

Corona Cut.

Jack tried to dye his hair pink yesterday. He was so disappointed when it didn’t work. So he wanted to cut my hair instead. Ok, so it had to be a semi-Mohican. He’s done a good job I reckon.

A rainbow for our key workers.

Across the country children at home in isolation are putting rainbows they have drawn and painted in their windows as a thank you to all our key workers. Not just our doctors and nurses, but shop workers, social workers, cleaners, waste collectors, teachers and volunteers. All of these people working hard to keep the fabric of society together during this crisis.
