Super Saturday
We wanted to be as far away from the perceived mayhem of Super Saturday; the day the bars (and restaurants, cinemas, hair salons) reopened.
So we spent the day in Alnmouth. The Old School Gallery is nearly the first building other than our own home I have been in since the lockdown. I’m looking forward to visiting more galleries, but I must admit I was pretty nervous going in.
The town and beach was so quiet and beautiful. A real antidote to the busy city.
